Traveling Australia: Noosa Heads situated on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The area features spectacular walking trails through Noosa National Park. One can explore the beautiful beaches and views along the coastal trail or enjoy a hike through the hill trails and up to Laguna lookout.
Go for a walk on hastings street you’ll find plenty of shopping, cafes and eateries. For groceries and more shopping, take a 2 minute drive over Noosa Hill to Noosa Junction.
There’s plenty of accommodations, from budget to high end. We stayed in Noosaville, At The Sound self-contained apartments. They offer great budget pricing, we would definitely stay again At The Sound.
Rich & I traveled to the land down under for the 2017 Arnold Classic Australia and hilarity ensued. Enjoy our travels!
Enjoy the highlights of Australia’s Great Ocean Road in this recent travel documentary by Robert Stephens. See some of the stunning sights on this engineering marvel, built by returned servicemen from World War I. Learn about its difficult construction. Catch a wave at the surfing mecca of Bell’s Beach. Browse the Apollo Bay Saturday Market. Hear the stories of shipwrecks. Spend a day in delightful Port Campbell and see the locals swim from the jetty to the beach. Learn the geology and stories of giant rock stacks such as the 12 Apostles, London Bridge and the Razorback. Walk down Gibson Steps to the beach and experience the roar of the surf. Get close and learn about koalas, king parrots and crimson rosellas. Visit Cape Otway Lightstation and Split Point Lighthouse. There is much more in this entertaining and educational documentary, so sit back and enjoy. Robert’s other Australian travel documentaries include the popular Travels in Tasmania, Travels in Southwest Australia, Travels in the Northern Territory and Lord Howe Island: Paradise Found, and its sequel, Paradise Revisited.
